Obsidian Dream Cast!

Now that we know that there will be an Obsidian movie coming out soon, I was thinking of what cast that movie should have... and as for Katy and Daemon, I can only see Sztella and Pepe, and I'm pretty sure many people think just like I do; and it would be great if they get a chance to play these roles on the big screen... as for the other roles, there are many good actors and actresses that fit the roles.

For Dee Black, I think Kristin Kreuk is the best option EVER! Dawson Black... well, of course the best option would be Pepe TothFor Andrew and Adam Thompson... Mr. Alex PettyferFor Ash Thompson... Brittany Snow. For Bethany Williams, I just think that Emmy Rossum would be the best for that role. I think Elizabeth Banks (AKA Effie Trinket), would be the best for Mrs. Swartz. Last but not least for Mr. Mattews, Ryan Reynolds would be doing a great job for that role.

If you guys wanted to know why is it that I chose these people for the roles, just beware... I will be updating VERY soon!

Obsidian going to the big screen!

OMG! Obsiadian, the first book of the Lux Series, is becoming a major motion picture! For more info on this you can check Jennifer l. Armentrout's page HERE.

One thing that can be said about this is that Pepe Toth and Sztella Tziotziosz need to play the leading roles of Katy and Deamon, if you don't know who Pepe and Sztella are, then just watch the Lux series book trailer and you will know who they are... Anyways, when I heard about this I was extremely happy and I seriously can't wait for Obsiadian to hit the big screen, and after Obsidian; Opal, Onyx, Origin and Opposition (The last book of the Lux series).

Origin (Lux #4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

Okay, so I already read Origin and let me tell you is better than what I was expecting. This book had me hooked from page 1... Something that I REALLY loved about this book is that it's in Katy and Daemon's POV, which is great! Though the ending left me wanting for more, I don't worry because I know there will be another book after this... which I'm wondering when it will come out, but that's something that only Jennifer l. Armentrout knows... we'll just have to wait.

This book has a lot of twist and turns that are NOT expected or that we never thought possible, which is one of the reasons of why I loved this book so much. Deamon is still his normal self, but a little out of contron because of what happened to Katy at the end of Opal...

Anyways, this is a book I highly recommend and loved; of course you have to read the books before this one to understand the whole story, but they are worth the time.

The Phantom of the Opera 25th Anniversary

So today I watched "The Phantom of the Opera: 25th Anniversary", and I can say that I'm still as amazed as the first time I saw it.

I'm still in LOVE with the way Ramin Karimloo portrays the Phantom. He is the first man that actually makes me think that the phantom wasn't just some crazy man, who killed people; thanks to him (and that I read the book), I understood better this character (and I sort of fell in love with him). If I were Christine I would have a though time choosing between Raoul and the Phantom, just because they both are the best option for different reasons...

If anyone ever wants to watch a good musical, I recoment "The Phantom of the Opera", but not the 2004 movie; because that movie is NOT good, the stage musical is.

Scarlett O'Hara

So you guys already know that I'm a BIG! Gone With The Wind fan, so it wouldn't be a surprise if I told you that my favorite character from all time happens to be Scarlett O'Hara. One of the reasons of why I like her character so much is because she's not the typical female protagonist you expect in a romance novel. Scarlett has a very interesting personality and she's not what was expected of a woman back in the 1860s, she's not afraid to do what may be needed to keep on going with her life; even after she's been hit by tragedies all along the way.

I persanaly believe that Scarlett is such a stronge woman, which is one of the reasons of why I like not only her character but also the book.

When it comes to how her story ends and the end of Gone With The Wind, I was a bit (and by that I mean "a lot") sad because she finally understood, or rather saw that she had been in love with her husband for a long time, but just because of a childhood fantasy she "Threw happiness away with both hands" as Rhett says on the book.

Gone With The Wind

Remember I told you guys that I have a thing for Gone With The Wind?... well, if anyone here does too, and has watched the movie or read the book; I would like to know what you guys think about it. I honestly believe is a great book and an AMAZING movie, and that Vivien Leigh is the best Scarlett O'Hara there could have ever been. If anyone agrees or disagrees with me just let me know, I would love to know what you all think.

Fanfictions

So like I said, I'm a BIG Narnia fan, if anyone has ever wrote a story, poem or something about Narnia... or even changed the ending of Prince  Caspian and made everyone happy by letting the Pevensie siblings stay in Narnia or made Peter and Susan go back to Narnia during the Voyange of the Dawn Trader, even though they were told that they weren't going to go back... send them to me and I'll be sure to read them all :D

The Chronicles of Narnia

So lately I've been reading "The Chronicles of Narnia", by C.S. Lewis, right now I'm on the fifth book, The Voyage of the Dawn TraderWhen it comes to me, I'm a BIG Narnia fan, but there's just one thing I don't seem to like... and that is Susan and Caspian's ending; I honestly believe they were meant for each other, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be... but no matter what I will always believe that they were the perfect couple :D

I think (or rather I know) that if I watch the second movie, which is The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian sometime soon, I will absolutely cry at the end; just because they should have been together, that was the perfect ending for that movie/book.

Anyways, as for the rest of the characters, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE EDMUND... he's so cute and funny. I love him in all the books/movies, but I love him even MORE in the second and third movie; he just looks even more adorable and Skandar Keynes aka Emdumd is just... beautiful:D

Ps. Remember I ship Caspian and Susan, 100% :D

Origin (Lux #4) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

So today is August 25th, only two days more to go so Origin (Fourth book of the Lux Series) can be released. I can honestly say that I can't wait to read this book! I want to know what's going to happen, since Opal ended in this major cliffhanger.... I would know, I've read that book all summer... but back to business, I can't wait to read it. I'm really looking foward to read this book since it's going to be in Katy's and Deamon's POV. I'm also already imagining the movie... this movie would be AWESOME!! at least I think it would be :D

Anyways, once I've read the book I'll make sure to write about it in here, so keep checking out my blog :D

Gone With The Wind

This summer I've have spend most of my time watching movies, one of them was Gone With The Wind. This movie is pretty old (from 1939) and it's based on Margarett Mitchell's 1936 novel which has the same name.

This story takes place before, during and after the American Civil war, and around Scarlett O'hara's life, who's played by Vivien Leigh. I personally love this book and movie because of the story, it has a lot of historical facts of the war and I love it's characters. My favorite character is definatelly Scarlett O'Hara, why? Because she's not the typical protagonist you expect in a romance novel. Scarlett is a very determined young woman, who will do pretty much anything to get what she wants.Throughout the whole story Scarlett changes from a sixteen-year-old girl to a fully grown woman who has gone through a lot in just a few years.

This is a movie I would absolutely recomend everyone to watch, no matter who old are you, or if you like old movies. This is a movie that is WORTH watching, I personally believe is one of the best movies ever! & it's my personal favorite, and I can also say that Scarlett O'Hara is my favorite character in a book and movie.

The Phantom of the Opera

The story of The Phantom of the Opera is best know thanks to the Musical that goes by the same name, The Phantom of the Opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber. This book was written by the French author, Gaston Leroux and was published in 1911 (The English version), but it was first published in 1910 in the city of Paris.

This books tells the story of Erik or the masked "phantom" of the Paris Opera House and how he fell in love with the young Swedish soprano, Christine Daaé, while he made her believe that he was the angel of music her father had promised to send once he had died.

This book has been adapted to many films, stage productions and a Tony Award-Winning musical. The movie that I think gets closer to the book would be the 1925 versions, which was the first movie based on "The Phantom of the Opera". Some people may prefer the musical adaptation of the book, which is alright as long as we're talking about the stage musical and not the 2004 movie. In my opinion the stage musical is way better than the 2004 movie, and I absolutely recommend people to watch the 25th anniversary performance of "The Phantom of the Opera", that was released in DVD back in February 2012.

Romeo & Juliet

"For never was a story of more woe than this of Juliet and her Romeo."

- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet

Romeo and Juliet, the tragic story written by William Shakespeare about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths reconcile their feuding families. This story has been around for quite sometime, and I'm sure everyone has heard something about or even watched the movie adaptations of Romeo and Juliet.

Personally my favorite is the 1968 adaptation with Leonard Whiting as Romeo and Olivia Hussey as Juliet. I love this movie because I think is the one that goes more to the book and the performances by Leonard Whiting and Olivia Hussey are wonderful, thought I also like the 1996 version with Leonardo DiCaprio as Romeo and Claire Danes as Juliet.as Romeo and Claire Danes as Juliet.

World War Z

World War Z is an  apocalyptic horror film directed by Marc Forster, and it's based on the 2006 novel by the same name written by Max Brooks.

The movie starts when Former United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt) and his family sit in traffic in the city of  Philadelphia while the radio reports on a rabies outbreak that has spread internationally. While they are waiting, unusual things begin to happen and soon they're realise that they are being attacked by the undead (Zombies). They manage to escape and go to a U.S. Navy vassel, thanks to Gerry's former UN colleague, Thierry Umutoni.

While aboard the ship Gerry is told that if he wants his family to stay aboard the vessel he needs to help them find a cure to the outbreak. Gerry agrees since that's the only way to keep his family safe from the undead. Gerry goes from Korea to Israel to England, looking for something that may be useful and that may help them find a cure to te outbreak.

I personally loved this movie, is one of the best apocalyptic/zombie movies that I have actually liked. Throughout most of the movie I was scared, yet I couldn't stop watching it. If you guys want something good to watch this weekend, I absolutely recomend World War Z.

Origin Teaser #4

"I love you," I said, our lips brushing. "I love you so very much"

Origin Teaser #3

Daemon POV

All the pent up, helpless rage formed a wrecking ball inside of me. Maintaining human form was near impossible. I wanted to hit something—destroy something. I needed to.

"Daemon, no one—"

"Shut up," I said, turning to where Matthew sat in the corner of the room. Right this moment I wanted to destroy him. "Just shut the hell up."

Origin Teaser #2

Deamon's POV

"We can't lose you," she said after a few moments of awkward as hell silence. "You have to understand that we aren't doing this because we don't care about Kat. We're doing this because we love you."

"But I love her," I said without hesitation.Dee's eyes widened, probably since it was the first time she'd heard me say it out loud, well, about anyone other than my family. I wished I had said it more often, especially to Kat. Funny how that kind of shit always turns out in the end. While you're deep in something, you never say or do what you need to. It's always after the fact, when it's too late that you realize what you've should've said or done.

It couldn't be too late. I knew that. The fact that I was still alive was testament to that. Like Dee said, though, there were worse things than death.

6/15/2013

Origin Teaser #1

Daemon's POV

"There's only one thing I want."

"And that is?"

"I want to see Kat."

Nancy's smile didn't fade. "And what are you willing to do to accomplish that?"

"Anything," I said without hesitation, and I meant it. "I will do anything, but I want to see Kat first and I want to see her now."

Origin Teasers

So, I've decided to look for some Origin teasers in JLA's webiste & I can say I had a sucessul result. I'll be sharing with all of you the teasers I found. I really hope you guys enjoy them & from what I've been hearing the book will be from both, Katy and Daemon's POV :)

Opal (Lux #3) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

"No one is like Daemon Black.
When he set out to prove his feelings for me, he wasn’t fooling around. Doubting him isn’t something I’ll do again, and now that we’ve made it through the rough patches, well... There’s a lot of spontaneous combustion going on." - Opal

The third part of the Lux series will certainly leave you hanging, until August 27, 2013, when Origin (The fourth part of the Lux series). In this thid part some major events happen that are really important for the whole series, and like I said, it leaves you hanging and wanting to know what's going to happen next.

Onyx (Lux #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

"I’ve seen someone who shouldn’t be alive. And I have to tell Daemon, even though I know he’s never going to stop searching until he gets the truth. What happened to his brother? Who betrayed him? And what does the DOD want from them—from me?"  - Onyx

Part two of the Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout, will surely leave you wanting more like Obsidian did. The second bookcome with more twists and secrets that are more than unexpected. New characters come into play, some good others not so much.

The second part of the Lux series will definitely will leave you with the need for more.

Obsidian (Lux #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout

"When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I’d pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up." - Obsidian.
First book of the Lux series by Jennifer Armentrout, is one of the best book I've read that were written in the last few years. It has a great plot, and even though there are some "strange" things going around, this book will certainly capture you.

Lux Series

Got a new favorite book serie, which is the Lux Series by Jennifer Armentrout. What's so great about this book is that is not you're typical boy meets girl love story, this books are way better than that; they get you hooked from the first chapter. The story is told by Katy Swartz, and is starts from the moment she moves from Florida to West Virginia where she meets the Black siblings, whi have a very special secret.
I absolutely recoment this books, in my opinion they are better than Twilight & even Harry Potter :P

Check out the first book here & don't forget to check out Jennifer Armentrout's website or to follow her on Twitter (@JLArmentrout)

Love?

How can I write about love?
When I don't know what is...
I can write about sadness or lonliness
For those are feelings that I know to well.

Sometimes I wish for love
But then I see the world
And regreat all thoughts...
For all the world can offer is wrong!

Knowing this I'm glad to be out of love
But then again I don't want to be alone.

Once More!

a little poem I wrote for English class... based on the Phantom of the Opera sequel "Love Never Dies".

Once more!
Ten long years
Living in darkness
Ten long years
Living a mere façade
Ten long years
Wasting my time on vaudeville trash

In my mind
I see an angel that brings light to my life
In my mind
I see all that could have been
In my mind
She’s back by my side

But I know
She’s lost and long gone
And I know
She fled from me once before
But I know
What we have cannot be ignored.

Years may come
Years may go
Time goes by

Without her
Dreams and hopes die
Without her
I feel no more than half way real

Yet I know
One day I’ll see her again
And I know
I’ll set the music in her free
And I know
I’ll hear her sing once more!
