a little poem I wrote for English class... based on the Phantom of the Opera sequel "Love Never Dies".

Once more!

Ten long years

Living in darkness

Ten long years

Living a mere façade

Ten long years

Wasting my time on vaudeville trash

In my mind

I see an angel that brings light to my life

In my mind

I see all that could have been

In my mind

She’s back by my side

But I know

She’s lost and long gone

And I know

She fled from me once before

But I know

What we have cannot be ignored.

Years may come

Years may go

Time goes by

Without her

Dreams and hopes die

Without her

I feel no more than half way real

Yet I know

One day I’ll see her again

And I know

I’ll set the music in her free

And I know

I’ll hear her sing once more!
